1984 Australian Championships Video

Somewhere out there in the land of past technology lives a video tape of the 1984 Aust Championships,  held at NWKC, Highclere. Leigh Hunter a Vic. Karter would like to get hold of it to copy. VHS / Beta it does not matter. He has the Technology to copy it.

Important message re Tassie Tour 2016

Hello Fellow Vintage Karters

We have received feedback on the Tour regarding 5 events over 9 days.
Let me assure you that you do not have to enter all events, you may if you wish only compete in one event. Or you might just like to enter the 2 events scheduled for Burnie on the weekend. Or you may choose to enter one, two, three, or all the events.

It is Your choice.

Entries are now open. To assist us with organising the Tour Events, programs, awards etc., we would appreciate if you could please enter as early as possible.

Although you are aware, I would like to remind you that you must have your karts log books and a current Karting Australia licence to run these events.

I would also like to advise the reason we have structured rest days between events. Is to allow you, your partners and families (if you should be bringing them), time to enjoy our magnificent State, its places of interest and Tasmania’s hospitality.

Why not plan your trip to link in with local tours, or maybe come down a bit earlier or leave a bit latter. To make this trip a great holiday. We are more that Hobart and Launceston and the road in between.

Please take the time to check Tasmania out.

Yours in Vintage Karting

Hi to all those interested in the Tassie Tour 2016 from 2-10 April.
Spirit of Tasmania has notified us that the car spaces they have been holding for the Tour will be available up until Sunday 17th Jan. These spaces will then be released from Monday the 18th Jan. Karters and friends, family etc. wishing to travel to Tasmania on the Spirit for the Tour will still be able to make their bookings via our exclusive link to the Spirit of Tasmania (on our website) and will still receive the best available price on the day- but will have to take their chances on securing a space for their vehicle, as that is a very busy time- around Easter!!!

The Tour is shaping up, with not long to go (approx. 12 weeks), so get your entries in asap and make a booking on the Spirit- if you intend coming.
